Student success • Security and Safety • Educator & Staff Support
I love my children more than anything, I really like our schools, and I care about the future of our community. I value the dedication of Conestoga’s teachers and administrators, and I believe strong schools require engaged parents and steady leadership.
I am seeking a position on the school board because I want to help keep our schools exceptional, support what is working well, and help bring about needed improvements. People who know me know that I have never been afraid to voice my convictions, and I would love to use that energy to represent and support the district.
I would be honored to earn your vote.
Priorities
Support strong core classroom instruction while advocating continued access to music, arts, physical education, technical skills, and extracurricular programs that contribute to a well-rounded education.
Prioritize student, staff, and facility safety while maintaining clear, consistent communication with families about policies, procedures, and events.
Strengthen the teachers, staff, and programs that make a lasting difference in students’ lives both inside and outside the classroom.
Background and Community Presence
I am a resident of Beaver Lake, where my family and I have lived for the past eight years. We are grateful to be part of this community and to raise our children in the Conestoga school district.
My husband and I have been married for 18 years, and we are the proud parents of six children. Our oldest graduated from Conestoga High School in 2025 and now serves in the United States Navy. He was active in choir throughout high school and frequently sang the national anthem at school and community events. He is completing his training in South Carolina in the nuclear field. We are very proud of his service to our great nation and all of his amazing accomplishments.
Our four middle kids are current Conestoga students. This year, they are in 11th, 8th, 6th & 4th grades. In 2 years, our youngest will be attending kindergarten at the elementary school. I have a good relationship and communicate regularly with their teachers and the principals with any concerns I ever have. Our school district has awesome, caring teachers and administrators!
I am extraordinarily blessed to be a stay-at-home mom and to be very involved in my children’s education and activities. Over the years my children have participated in band and choir at the high school, junior high, and elementary levels; been team members on the cross country, track, basketball, cheer, and speech teams; played on the local baseball and soccer leagues; part of the cast or crew in elementary musicals; been in the HAL program and part of the QuizBowl teams; and enjoyed afterschool student organizations such as Cougars 4 Christ, Good News Club, and the environmental club.
I have sat in the stands or in the audience for these and other events like our district's football games, watching not only my children, but yours, as well, as they grew and learned from these activities. Sometimes these events were local, other times there was a little bit of drive. All were well worth it to provide support for our children and our schools.
In addition to being a parent, I am a singer and songwriter. I have been singing my whole life and writing songs since I was a young girl. Music has always been very important to me and it continues to shape our family life. All of our children share a love for music, whether through singing, playing instruments, or dancing. The arts are an important part of a well-rounded education, and I have seen firsthand how they build confidence, passion, and discipline in students.
